The 3.5G technology-based coverage would be available in 21 cities covering all the district headquarters in Kerala Circle . This is a smart move by BSNL as Kerala is a hot tourist destination and both Domestic and International travelers frequent this state. BSNL aims to provide 2.55 lakh 3G connections in the Kerala Circle, including 37,758 lines in Kozhikode city and suburban areas and 1,469 lines in Kalpetta. Over 100 base stations are being set up in Kozhikode for the roll out !
