Rumor : iPhone 4 OS to bring Multitasking and System Wide Multitouch

BGR has managed to get some details about the upcoming iPhone 4.0 OS which you can see in the picture above  .   It might bring the much awaited feature – multitasking to the iPhone Although the iPhone App Store has millions of apps , there is no way you can run more than one App at a time. In the current state , its so crazy to have 100’s of apps on your phone and you can use only one at time when other platforms such as Symbian, Android, Palm WebOS and most recently Maemo support multitasking out of the box. Jailbroken iPhone users have already managed to run multiple apps in the background – thanks to Backgrounder. But the rumor is indicating official support for mutitasking . Another expected feature is the availability of MultiTouch across the OS. Then there is some  new syncing ability for the contacts and calendar applications. Also expected are some UI changes  which make navigation easier. And this update is expected to be available for iPhone 3G and 3GS users. So if you still use a first gen iPhone , its time to get rid of it !
