Windows Mobile 7 Event All Set-No Adobe Flash in 7!

Looks like Microsoft is going to announce their Windows Mobile 7 for mobile phones today at 2PM GMT ie 3PM in Spain. The times of the event for other cities are as follows: 04:00AM – Hawaii 06:00AM – Pacific 07:00AM – Mountain 08:00AM – Central 09:00AM – Eastern 02:00PM – London 03:00PM – Paris 11:00PM – Tokyo The even had been revealed when Engadget played around with photoshop and uncovered the “7 Series” logo that was hidden on the poster at Barcelona. So the event is a go and more information will be revealed later. But right now, there is a very disappointing news for all. Windows Mobile 7 Series will not have Adobe Flash just like the Apple iPad. This news was confirmed by Adobe themselves in a statement as follow: “Microsoft and Adobe are working closely together. While the newest version of Windows Phone won’t support Flash at initial availability, both companies are working to include a browser plug-in for the full Flash player in future versions of Windows Phone. More details will be shared at Microsoft MIX next month.” But at least support for it is coming later. Hope these aren’t empty promises. via Engadget Similar Posts: Gartner says to Nokia : start making Windows Mobile phones or forget North American market altogether Its Official!
