Microsoft did something interesting today by launching it’s First Google Android app – Microsoft Tag Reader Microsoft Tag is the software giant’s implementation of QR codes or mobile barcodes . It already has apps for other platforms such as Windows Mobile , iPhone , Java, Symbian and Blackberry.The Tag Reader application can scans barcodes using your mobile phone’s camera and you can get related information about the product straight on your phone. You can download the app from the Android market by search for Microsoft Tag – Its free ! And Would be cool if Microsoft released the Bing app for more platforms. It actually rocks in the iPhone platform and MS reported that the traffic it’s receiving from the app is significant.
