Qik Premium goes for sale on Nokia Ovi Store

Mobile video sharing service Qik has added a new Premium App to their service . The new Qik Premium app is exclusively available on the Nokia Ovi Store at a promotional price of 4.99 USD or 4.99 EUR depending on your location. One of the main highlights of this app is the ability to save your uploaded videos in MPEG-4 format The app uses high quality transcoding for improved video playback. You can view your recorded videos in HD on a fast connection. And you can view videos on the slow connection in the normal mode. You can also play videos on your phone. The Ability to upload and share videos recorded with your mobile phone’s native camera application is coming soon to Qik Premium. This would be awesome if you want to upload videos using a Wi-Fi connection after recording them outdoors. The promotional price is 4.99 USD per year and the offer is valid till March 31st 2010. If you buy the service during this offer the company promises  free access to new  features that will be added to Qik Premium in the Ovi Store this year.
