Sunburn has become something like a mecca for the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) fans across India and abroad. The festival has been organized by Percept and features some of the hottest electronic music acts from across the world. This year, Percept has announced that the company has got into a 3 year association with Youtube to stream the festival on Youtube. The company released a statement to that effect. “The association which includes all Sunburn properties- Sunburn Goa, Sunburn Mumbai and Sunburn Noida – will have the events live streamed to a global audience in more than 100 countries worldwide.” Percept has also partnered with Youtube before for 2010 and 2011 editions of Sunburn. This new 3 year association will thus make sure that the Sunburn festival caters to the significant amount of listeners in the country and abroad. This is a big deal for the festival as this streaming partnership is necessary towards building a stronger brand. This is the sixth edition of the Sunburn festival and it will be held in Goa from December 27th to December 29th. The expected revelers at the festival have been pegged 1.5 lakh which is much bigger than their previous turnouts. It is a good thing that Indian brands are actively exploring such options so that they can go global.
