MeraCareerGuide.com , a web-portal focused on offering career choices has refined its offering with a ‘ Psychometric Career Assessment ’. Currently limited to Engineering, Commerce and Humanities, the automated test series will aide the student in choosing the right courses and careers in their respective branches. Career Counseling is a niche segment . Furthermore there are  few organizations who dedicate sufficient man-power to evaluate each every student’s inclination towards a particular stream. As per MHRD statistics , every year approximately 1.3 Crores students appear for 12 th HSC exam all over India & the results are usually in the range of 50-60%. Hence by that calculation, roughly 60 lakh graduate every year wondering which stream would suit them the most says Surabhi Dewra, Founder and CEO MeraCareerGuide, “ If we talk about Engineering, more than 11 lakhs students write engineering entrance exams every year in India, yet a handful of them actually know which engineering branch would be suitable for them. Not making an informed engineering branch decision is the reason that 30% of engineering graduates remain unemployed and 20% of them go for MBA every year. Engineering Branch Selector by MeraCareerGuide.Com would help students make such important career decisions of choosing a right branch; based on scientific data and instead of family pressure, career fads or any other unscientific grounds ”. The tests are also designed for the Standard 10 th SSC students who wish to evaluate their capabilities prior to experimenting with their time, careers & ultimately lives. Since its inception  in 2011 , MeraCareerGuide has worked on offering One-to-one attention to students & helping them with Personal Career Counseling. While it has surely charged for its services, multiple other companies have only offered a platform to search colleges & rate them. But few have dared to confidently dictate the educational choices. Will be interesting to see how many students will be benefited with this portal. What do you think? Looking For A Social Media Agency?? – Contact WATConsult – India’s Leading Social Media Agency
