Google India has announced that they have launched the Google+ Hangouts service directly into Gmail. This will be available to all Gmail users starting today. Google+’s hangouts have been the killer feature for Google’s social network. Many prominent people and celebrities have utilized Hangouts to talk to and engage with many people in a way which was not possible before. This integration of Hangouts right into your Gmail will make it easier for you to hold a hangout with people in your contact list. You can use hangouts to do many thing – catch up with friends and family,  hold discussions and debates with your friends and contacts, watch Youtube videos with friends, collaborate on Google Docs and play games together. Hangouts can also be broadcast live by anyone which allows many other people to view your hangouts via Youtube. The Gmail Hangout integration supports 1 to 1 person video chat and allows up to 9 people to be added to the hangout list. If you want to hangout with people in your Gmail list, they have to make sure that they sign up for Google+. Hangouts can also be scheduled using Google Calendar and also be accessed on the move using Google+ apps for iOS and Android. Google+ has been using the slow and steady approach and is currently the second largest social network after Facebook, even ahead of Twitter in this case. With such tight integration into everyday web products like Gmail, Youtube and others, Google is slowly making sure that Google+ will be used by all Google users.
