Valuefirst, a Gurgaon based Digital media company has announced that it has acquired a mobile video service called clk2c.com. The amount shelled out for the acquisition remains undisclosed. Valuefirst has also revealed that it will be integrating clk2c’s B2C features (mobile greetings) into its existing product, Full On SMS. clk2c has been up and running since 2009 after being founded by Suresh Kabra. It was previously a unit within Samadhan Systems Pvt. Ltd. The service caters to both the enterprise and personal users. Its core service allows brands to send audio and video commercials to a target audience. Valuefirst’s CEO Vishwadeep Bajaj spoke about the acquisition, “clk2c.com is a strategic fit in the ValueFirst portfolio. Through this platform, we will be able to execute rich media campaigns for our opt-in consumer base on behalf of brands and agencies. This platform extends digital interactions to include video, along with our existing multi-modal reach through SMS, voice, unstructured supplementary service data (USSD), e-mail and display.” The service will add to existing products that ValueFirst has acquired over last year thus making it capable to provide mobile video solutions to brands and other clients. Valuefirst made a string of acquisitions like mGinger , Way2Online ( disputed and reversed ), Packet Shaper,  Indyarocks etc. There were some rocky times afterwords with Kumar Apoorv, the previous CEO being fired for financial irregularities related to the WAY2Online acquisition. Vishwadeep Bajaj (previously CMD) now leads the company as the CEO.
