Hyosung GV250 All Set To Be Rolled Out

South Korean company S & T Groups now owns the Hyosung bikes division after the acquisition in 2007. In India, DSK Group based out of Pune in Maharashtra is the partner to S&T motors. Hyosung GV250 is considered by some as the toned down version of GV650 also called Aquilla pro. GV250 is not exactly a new entrant in the Indian market. In the year 2003, Kinetic motors imported and successfully sold around 200 units of this big bike cruiser. These bikes had disappeared from the Indian segment after that for some time. It is back in business with some of its cruisers and racing bikes finding good reception among affluent Indian bikers. Hyosung GV250 price has not yet been officially released. We can expect this quarter liter bike to come with an attached price tag of 250000 INR but we have to wait for the launch to know better   This high end bike is expected to be launched in the Indian market this time by the DSK conglomerate. The partnership between DSK and the Korean bike maker has already seen some successful launches and GV250 is expected to turn in more sales figures. This bike maintains the standard look of a cruiser with its round headlamps, low slung seats and wide handlebars. It is anticipated that GV250 will be assembled locally in India either at the Wai plant in Pune or at the newly acquired plant in Karad. Some of the Hyosung GV250 features have been modified from the previous version.    The engine which powers this bike is a DOHC 8 valve, V-twin engine with a displacement of 249cc. The earlier carburetors have been replaced with the electronic fuel injection system.  The engine is air and oil cooled. It can output a peak power of 28.5 bhp at 10000 rpm and a maximum torque of 29 Nm at 7500 rpm. The engine is coupled with a standard 5 speed gear box with one down and 4 up gears. With a wide wheelbase of 1500 mm, low placed split seats, front disc brake and the front forks, the bike can be expected to provide good stability to the driver. The first thing that strikes you when looking at the Hyosung GV250 pictures is the chrome. The bike boasts of a generous dash of chrome all over from the mirrors to the exhaust silencer. The Hyosung GV250 is expected to be launched soon  but date is not fixed.
