Knowlarity Communications, a company which provides cloud telephony services to businesses has announced that it is expanding its operations to Singapore. This is its first foray into APAC for the company. The Singapore operation will also provide the cloud telephony services in addition to customer service, on site product development. The company is planning on increasing its staff to 500. The company will source local talent for its Singaporean operations. Ambarish Gupta, Founder and CEO of the company spoke about the development, “South-east Asia is a faster growing market and it is the second largest market but that doesn’t mean that we would stop our business in India but it will always be our major preference. Our operational base will remain in India and we will have few sales & marketing people working in Singapore. According to the current scenario, the International market is rapidly mushrooming as compared to India since enterprises at home are not ready to spend much and most of them have extremely low budgets” Knowlarity has previously raised funding from Emergic Venture Capital and Progressivist Investment Capital in addition to its recent funding by Sequoia Capital to the tune of $6.6 million. Cloud telephony is especially a lucrative segment because of the flexibility that it offers to businesses and employees. The company will continue to operate out of its offices in Gurgaon. The company also announced that they had now reached 5000 business customers. Website | Knowlarity Looking For A Social Media Agency?? – Contact WATConsult – India’s Leading Social Media Agency
