The HTC HD Mini should have been called the miniHD2  as it’s a downsized HD2 . It runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 with HTC Sense UI. We got a chance to play with this phone at Barcelona and we managed to compare it with the HD2 For more info check out the video below Despite the Windows Phone 7 announcement Microsoft has confirmed that it does not plan to shelve Windows Mobile. ELSE Mobile – Something totally different from the crowd

While we are wrapping up MWC 2010 coverage on FoneArena, we definitely didn’t want you to miss out on the First ELSE phone which is based on the ACCESS Linux platform. The Else Intuition User Interface on this phone is something totally different. Video : Hands on the Samsung Beam Projector Phone

We managed to catch the Samsung BEAM aka Projector Phone during MWC last month and it runs on Android and sports the famous Super AMOLED display . Video after the break The specs of the Samsung Beam include a inbuilt Video/ Photo Projector which is pretty cool. The display is a gorgeous 3.7 inch Super AMOLED display. It also features a 5 megapixel camera with HD video recording. Projectors on phones adds a whole new dimension to sharing. Imagine you shoot a photo/video on the phone camera , you can actually show it off on a large screen without having to transfer it to a PC or photo sharing site ! This phone was  codenamed Halo and was rumoured to launch with Android 2.1 . Now it’s been officially launched as the BEAM. Similar Posts: None Found

Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro Photo Gallery

The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro is a the QWERTY version of the Vivaz and made was officially announced at Mobile World Congress last month. This Symbian powered handset runs on S60 5th edition and packs a 5.1 Megapixel Camera which can do 720p video recording. The screen is a  scratch resistant16:9 TFT nHD touchscreen with 16 million colours and a 360 x 640 pixel resolution. At the Sony Ericsson event , we met Maiko Ishida , Product Planner of the Vivaz series of devices and she highlighted the the Vivaz Pro features the Human Curvature in it’s design which is going to part of SE devices We found the keypad pretty comfortably to type on and the handset is pretty light at 117g considered the specs. Pics : HTC HD2 with a huge display !

The HTC HD2 might be of one of the few windows mobile powered handsets that boasts of  decent hardware !  The most interesting thing on the HD2 is the size of the display on this phone -  a 4.3 screen The display renders pretty much everything at a 480 X 800 pixel resolution and is a treat to watch. The phone is just 11mm thick and is powered by a 1 GHz Snapdragon CPU.Here are some pics of this beast from Barcelona. Although the phone is a bit old now its a beauty for sure !
