Nokia N900 Firmware Updated To Version 3.2010.02-8

Nokia recently released a new firmware update for its popular Maemo based smartphone, Nokia N900. The new version 3.2010.02-8 can be easily downloaded from Over The Air (OTA) update. The size of this firmware update is just 16 MB. The new firmware update comes with minor fixes and improvements. The changelog of this firmware update is not yet available. It is advised to backup all your data before updating the device. We will update this post as soon as we get more information regarding this firmware update. Nokia 5800 firmware update v40.0.005 brings kinetic scrolling

The Nokia 5800 got a firmware update just hours ago which adds Kinetic scrolling to the phone. The version V40.0.005 firware has been in development for quite some time and has been released finally. You can update the firmware OTA ( Over the Air) or using Nokia Software Updater using a PC.  OTA will be easier and you can do it just from the phone. Although the 5800 supports UDP or User Data Preservation taking a backup of your phone is highly recommended ! Do you see the update in your phone ? Nokia N78 software version 13.052 released

This software release includes among several improvements Nokia Maps 2.0. Discover enhanced pedestrian and car navigation with satellite images. Plan your routes with rich media guidance. Further update changes include e-mail connectivity upgrades, YouTube video support and music player improvements. To get this software through your Nokia N78, click Menu > Tools > Utilities > Device Manager. Select Options > Check for updates and follow the on-screen prompts. Remember that you can also use Wi-Fi to download the update. Additionally this software release is available through the Nokia Software Updater: www.nokia-asia.com/softwareupdate .
