Palm webOS 1.4 SDK Released

Palm has released the SDK of its latest webOS update 1.4 so that developer can enjoy of the benefits of webOS 1.4. The most important feature in this update has been the ability to record Videos and with this SDK release, Palm has thrown open the Camera API along with Video Recording to all the third party Video Streaming applications like Qik , Ustream etc. Other than these, there are numerous enhancements included in webOS 1.4 like WebKit 4, Implementation of HTML 5 Media API and V8 JavaScript Engine along with a lot of bugfixes. New Version Of Google Voice for iPhone and Palm WebOS Released

Today Google launched a new Google Voice mobile web app for iPhone OS 3.0 and higher and Palm Web OS devices. This feature rich new version of Google voice has made use of the new markup language HTML5. The new web app now lets you display your Google Voice number as the outbound caller ID (so return calls come back to your Google Voice number), send and receive text messages for free, and place international calls at Google Voice’s low rates . You can access this new web app on your iPhone and Palm devices just by accessing m.google.com/voice on your browser. Check out the video in action: Although HTML5 is cool , native Apps are more powerful .  But looks like Apple will never approve Google’s Voice on the App Store. Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus Specs Gets Leaked

The Detailed Specs of the upcoming Palm Pre Plus and the Palm Pixi Plus are now out, all thanks to a leaked document from Verizon. Palm Pre Plus features a a 3.1″ capacitive display with 320*480 resolution and multi-touch support. The device also comes packed with 16GB of internal memory, slide out QWERTY keyboard, 3MP camera with LED Flash, Support for Wi-Fi, EVDO Rev A, Bluetooth, video and music playback, and a document viewer. The Pixi Plus whereas comes with a 2.63″ capacitive display with 320*480 resolution and multi-touch support with 8GB of internal memory, QWERTY keyboard, 2MP camera with LED flash, Support for Wi-Fi, EVDO Rev A, Bluetooth, video and music playback, and a document viewer. Sadly, Both the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus do not have a microSD memory card slot and doesnt support video recording. Sigh!
